Desperate Times, Desperate Measures...

We all know that Kobe Bryant's former bodyguard/fixer (Patrick Graber) wrote a book "Dead Women Tell No Tales," and in the book, he makes explosive allegations, accusing Kobe of trying to hire him to kill the girl in Colorado who accused Kobe of rape. According to Graber, the verbal exchange went like this.
Kobe allegedly told Graber, "The only person you deal with is Jose, the head of my security team. I want you to write a letter to me at the Staples Center. Jose receives all my mail there and reads it. He will then get in touch with you. This is the last face-to-face contact between us."
"I'll pay you $1 million dollars for the job. Just make sure she doesn't appear in court!" According to Graber, he was dead serious. Graber says, "I had seldom seen such deadly focus. This was the look of a stone cold killer."
Graber says he tried to reason with Kobe by saying, "I wasn't talking about money, but your security. If this girl disappears, a lot of fingers will point at you. I don't think it would be wise and I do not enjoy the idea of this Jose having such a potentially incriminating document, that I'm supposed to write." Graber was worried. He could not figure out all the angles.
"He isn't a cop, you know. He works for me," Kobe insisted. "That man is absolutely reliable, he wouldn't shit if I told him not to! He barked a laugh. At that moment, Graber wondered if he was actually out of his mind.
It was then that Garber realized that Kobe didn't want Jose to know they knew each other. Bryant obviously wanted to distance himself from his alleged hired assassin. By doing that, he would be able to deny complicity in the conspiracy. No one, not even Jose would know that Kobe had initiated the whole plot. If this blew up, Kobe would have plausible deniability. Clever. Make it look like his chief of security and one of his bodyguards cooked this up and sit on the sidelines. Graber was uncomfortable, he could have thought of a million things he would rather do than give this Jose a letter soliciting him for the murder of a victim.
Kobe startled Graber when he asked, "How do you like El Segundo?" He had never told Kobe where he lived. Bryant had obviously been researching him. He didn't like the way this conversation was heading. Graber's family lived there. Kobe added, "Nice schools your kids go to."
Graber felt his face get hot with rage. According to Graber, Kobe then asked about the schools his children attended. This meant he knew that Patrick's two children went to two different schools and this meant that Kobe was not bluffing. The bodyguard had never talked about his family to anyone even remotely connected to Kobe. Someone had to be watching his kids.

NBA PLAYER WAS SERIAL RAPIST:
Tom Payne (born November 19, 1950) is a former professional basketball player.
A 7-2 center, Payne played with the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA during the 1970-71 season. He was also the first African American ever to play basketball for the University of Kentucky.
Payne’s promising career ended suddenly in May 1972, after police in Georgia arrested him after investigating several rapes in the Atlanta area. Later, he was indicted in Kentucky in connection with one rape and two attempted rapes. In 1972 he was convicted on two counts of rape and one count of aggravated sodomy in Atlanta. He served five years in prison in Georgia, two and a half of those in solitary confinement for participating in a prison riot.
Immediately after his release from prison in Georgia, Payne was extradited to Kentucky, where he was convicted on one count of rape and two counts of attempted rape. He served five years in prison in Kentucky before being paroled in 1983. After his release from prison, he attempted a basketball comeback with the Louisville Catbirds of the CBA. He also made an attempt at a professional boxing career, participating in five bouts. Later, he moved to Hollywood and became an actor, once appearing in Night Court, as well as a McDonalds commercial.On Valentine’s Day, 1986, Payne was caught by Los Angeles police raping a woman. He was convicted of this crime, which also violated his parole in Kentucky.
Payne was released from prison in 2000 after legal wrangling to get his sentenced reduced. He hoped to move to Cincinnati to settle down with his brother. Instead, he was transferred back to Kentucky, where he faced an additional 15 years in prison for violation of parole from the 1971 charge. He and his family are fighting the courts to have this sentence reduced.

Disturbing that he continued to rape women even after his hellacious downfall.

NFL Player, Drug Dealer and Murderer???

NFL PLAYER WAS DRUG TRAFFICKER & TOOK OUT CONTRACT ON JUDGE:
Darryl Keith Henley was a cornerback in the NFL. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1989 draft from UCLA. In his career he played in 76 games, he amassed 12 interceptions.
Currently, Henley is serving a 41 year sentence for trafficking cocaine and for attempting to take out a murder contract on the judge from his cocaine trial.
Henley was a sophisticated drug trafficker who seduced a Rams cheerleader and tricked her into carrying his cocaine across the country, a prosecutor said.

I wonder what goes on in the minds of so-called celebrities or professional athletes...how do they become so self-involved as to think they are untouchable?

Bubba Sparxxx Arrested....

Rapper Bubba Sparxxx was arrested in Clearwater, Florida Hooters on Sunday night (May 17) for illegal drugs.
According to TampaBay.com, the 32-year-old rapper (real name: Warren Mathis) was busted in the act of buying drugs by an off duty police officer.
The reports says he was purchasing Tranxene, a prescription medication subscribed to individuals suffering from anxiety.
Bubba was arrested, booked on felony possession of a controlled substance, and released on Monday (May 18) after posting $2,000 bail.
The rapper is best known for his 2006 top 10 smash hit, "Ms. New Booty," and his debut single "Ugly."

Damn as rich as I wanna be and as paid as I'm going to be I pray to GOD I don't let the evil in money destroy me it's crazy to see how quickly people go down hill after riding high!

Strip Much???

Last week, rumors that Kanye West and his girl Amber Rose had broken up spread across the worldwide web. Those rumors came originated from talk about her letting another rapper sample her goodies.
According to the gossip, Amber was creeping with Philly rapper Cassidy, after meeting him at a local charity softball game, but she says it's not true.
The shaved head, blonde bombshell cleared up those rumors, via an update on her Twitter page Friday (May 22), calling the gossip "ridiculous."
"I do NOT know Cassity personally, I met him for the first and only time at a charity softball game. THAT'S IT! These blogs r ridiculous," Amber wrote.
Guess the blogs were not on point this time. Amber didn't address the break-up rumors, though.
It's been rumored that she's keeping the relationship going for publicity. We'll keep you posted as more info rolls in.

Miami Actor Wins $750,000 Judgement Against Scott Storch

Scott Storch can't catch a break, can he? After revealing to the world (via an MTV report) that his fast life -- consisting of drugs, partying and lavish living -- had cost him almost all his fortune, he is now being ordered to cough up $750,000 to a Miami actor over a business dispute.
According to the Miami Herald, actor/film producer Matt Sinnreich sued Storch, claiming the producer left him high and dry after agreeing to form a company with him in June 2007.
The allegedly agreed to form a company where they would sign and produce singer Sindy Espitia and rapper Darrell "D Shep" Sheppard, both of Miami. Sinnreich paid Storch $25,000 for 25% of the corporation, but Storch "failed to form the corporation ... and failed to return the $25,000," court documents stated.
Citing breach of contract and civil theft, he filed a suit against Storch. The producer failed to respond to the complaint, and a judge granted Sinnreich's motion for default last December. Jurors decided how much in damages Storch owed, which came to a $750,000 verdict.
Sinnreich is currently trying to collect on the judgment. But Storch has had money problem for some time now. He fell behind in child support and owes $722,0000 in property taxes on his $10.5 million mansion on Miami Beach's Palm Island.
In March, SunTrust obtained a judgment of foreclosure for $8.4 million. The property sale is set for June 26.
Storch once commanded an estimated $100,000 per beat, and had earned $70 million in 2004, according to Rolling Stone who dubbed him "hip-hop's Liberace."

Once a child or teenager is abducted, you have 96 hours to recover/locate them before they go on the sex trafficking pipeline, after this time period is up, you will never see them again!

My heart broke while reading this story....

According to a new report we haven’t seen anything yet when it comes to torture at the Abu Ghraib jail in Iraq and because of the shock culture we live in there is secret war going on between those who want the remaining pictures to remain private and those that want to see them on TMZ.
At least one picture shows an American soldier apparently raping a female prisoner while another is said to show a male translator raping a male detainee. Further photographs are said to depict sexual assaults on prisoners with objects including a truncheon, wire and a phosphorescent tube. Another apparently shows a female prisoner having her clothing forcibly removed to expose her breasts.
Detail of the content emerged from Major General Antonio Taguba, the former army officer who conducted an inquiry into the Abu Ghraib jail in Iraq. Allegations of rape and abuse were included in his 2004 report but the fact there were photographs was never revealed. He has now confirmed their existence in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
The graphic nature of some of the images may explain the US President’s attempts to block the release of an estimated 2,000 photographs from prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan despite an earlier promise to allow them to be published.
Among the graphic statements, which were later released under US freedom of information laws, is that of Kasim Mehaddi Hilas in which he says: “I saw [name of a translator] ******* a kid, his age would be about 15 to 18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn’t covered and I saw [name] who was wearing the military uniform, putting his **** in the little kid’s ***…. and the female soldier was taking pictures.”

Guilty until Proven Innocent....

Jerry Lee Evans of Dallas, Texas is a free man as of yesterday after being freed by DNA samples for a rape he had maintained he didn’t commit. Dallas News reports:
Evans was wrongly convicted in the 1986 rape of an 18-year-old Southern Methodist University freshman who was abducted on her way to go dancing in Deep Ellum, near downtown Dallas. Prosecutors now say that police told her to pick Evans out of a lineup.
Evans said Wednesday that he never thought he would be convicted because he was innocent. Evans’ appearance was very similar to that of the attacker. At the time, he even had a speech impediment like the rapist. Evans, wearing a new gray shirt and charcoal pants, did not speak with an impediment Wednesday, although his voice was very soft.
“My whole thing was that when the young lady would see me in court, she’d say it wasn’t me,” he said. “I was shocked.” Still, Evans holds no ill will against anyone. He’s just happy to be free, he said. “I’m not angry at all,” he said.
Jerry appeared on CNN’s Larry King show last night where his representative said that Texas has a newly passed bill that makes him eligible for $80,000 for each year he was held captive in a lump sum ($1.76 million) and then $80,000 payable each year.

Revisited...

INTRODUCTION:
As a little boy, Tobe Hooper (the writer and director of the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”) was visiting relatives and overheard the adults talking about a local farmer (Ed Gein) who was convicted of necrophilia and who had a fondness for making masks from the skin of his victims and fashioning furniture from human skin. Hooper was forever scarred and he never forgot the story. This story would become the basis for the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

THE STORY BEHIND THE “TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE”
Despite being heavily touted as “inspired by actual events,” the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is lightly based on real life serial killer Ed Gein (pictured above, first photo).
Ed Gein was the son of Augusta and George Gein, he spent the majority of his childhood in Plainfield, Wisconsin. Augusta was a deeply religious, overbearing and domineering mother. She warned Ed about loose women and she preached the Bible to him, night and day. George was an alcoholic who Augusta viewed as useless. Augusta wouldn’t allow Ed to have friends, and she forbade him from socializing with kids from school. Ed grew up to be introverted and feminine and the townspeople referred to him as ‘Weird Eddie.’
Ed would be suspected of killing his brother Henry but was quickly dismissed as a suspect due to his age. Ed’s mother died the following year. Ed was still emotionally enslaved by the woman who tyrannized his life, even after her death.
Over time, he became fascinated with medical experiments performed on Jews in concentration camps. He went to the local cemetery to dig up bodies, mainly skulls, livers, hearts and intestines. He was especially interested in female genitalia, which he would fondle and play with, sometimes stuffing the genitalia in panties that he wore around the house.
His victims were usually his late mother’s age. Mary Hogan, 54, disappeared from the tavern she ran in 1954 and Bernice Worden, a woman in her late fifties, disappeared on November 16, 1957. Mrs. Worden’s son Frank was also the sheriff’s deputy and upon learning that Gein had been spotted in town the day his mother disappeared, he decided to investigate.
The gruesome evidence proved that Gein’s bizarre obsessions had finally exploded. In the woodshed, Bernice Worden was found hanging upside down from a meat hook and slit open down the front. Her head and intestines were discovered in a box and her heart in a plate in the dining room. The skins from human heads were found preserved and another skin taken from the upper torso of a woman was rolled up on the floor. There was also a belt fashioned from carved-off nipples, there was a chair ‘upholstered in human skin’ and a table propped up by human shinbones.
Like ‘Leatherface,’ a mask (human scalp and face) was found nearby.
Gein later confessed that he enjoyed human-skin garments and pretending he was his mother.
After ten years in a mental hospital, Gein was considered fit to stand trial and was sentenced to two life terms. He died in 1984 of heart failure.
Gein never used a chainsaw on his victims, instead he used a pistol. Gein was also the suspect in several other missing persons cases and his actual farm house was similar to the slaughter house featured in the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,’ pictured above.

Army Private Ronald A. Gray is the first person in the United States to have a death sentenced signed by a president (George Bush) in over 50 years. Private Ronald Gay was sentenced to death after he was convicted of 8 rapes, 1 attempted murder, and 4 murders while being stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.

MILITARY SERIAL KILLER & RAPIST:
Ronald Adrin Gray (born 1966) is an American serial killer whose convictions include four counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and eight counts of rape. His crimes were committed when he was in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was tried and convicted by military courts, and was sentenced to be put to death. His execution by lethal injection will be the first performed by the United States military since the execution of John A. Bennett for rape and attempted murder in 1961. On November 26, 2008, a federal judge issued a stay of execution stopping the planned December 10 execution.
On December 15, 1986, Gray abducted, raped, sodomized, and murdered Private Laura Lee Vickery-Clay, age 18. On January 3, 1987, he raped and attempted to murder Private Mary Ann Lang Nameth, age 20. Three days later, on January 6, he raped, sodomized, robbed, and murdered a civilian, Kimberly Ann Ruggles, age 23.
The first victim, Private Vickery-Clay, disappeared from Fort Bragg on December 15, 1986. Two witnesses saw her at a local K-Mart with a man later identified as Gray. Vickery-Clay's car, found the next morning a block from her home, appeared to have been driven through the woods, and the driver's seat was set back farther than necessary for Vickery-Clay to drive. Three of Gray's fingerprints were found on the hood of the car. On January 17, 1987, a soldier discovered Vickery-Clay's half-naked, decomposed body in the woods in Fort Bragg. She had been raped, sodomized, and shot in the neck, forehead, chest, and back of the head. She had also suffered blunt force trauma to various parts of her body. The murder weapon, a .22 caliber pistol that Gray had stolen in November 1986, was found 60 feet from the victim's body.
On January 3, 1987, Gray entered the barracks room of Private Mary Ann Lang Nameth under the pretense of needing to use the bathroom. Once inside, Gray grabbed Nameth, held a knife to her throat, and asked for her military field gear. Gray tied Nameth's hands behind her back, removed her underclothing, and raped her. Gray then stabbed her repeatedly in the neck and on the side of her body, and threatened to return and kill her if she screamed. Nameth suffered a lacerated trachea and a collapsed lung, but survived. When Gray's photograph appeared in the news following his arrest for another crime, Nameth identified him as her assailant.
On the evening of January 6, 1987, Kimberly Ann Ruggles, a local taxicab driver, was dispatched to pick up a passenger named "Ron" at Gray's address. In the early morning hours of January 7, military police officers on routine patrol discovered Ruggles' empty taxicab parked at the edge of the woods. Her nude body was discovered a short distance away. She had been raped, sodomized, beaten, and stabbed seven times. Ruggles' mouth was gagged with a cloth belt that matched a pair of black karate pants other police officers had found in Gray's possession hours earlier. Gray's fingerprints were on the interior door handle of Ruggles' taxi, and Ruggles' fingerprints were found on money in Gray's possession. Gray's footprints were also found at the scene of the crime.

This athlete (who may or may not be retired) lost his male virginity to a famous and highly paid black actor. The athlete was on the receiving end. Update on Exodus Tyson

PHOENIX (AP) - The 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson died at a hospital on Tuesday, a day after her neck apparently got caught in a treadmill cord at her Phoenix home, police said.

Exodus Tyson had been on life support and police have said their investigation showed her injury on Monday was a "tragic accident."
"There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus," the family said in a statement. "We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
Police said Exodus either slipped or put her head in the loop of a cord hanging under the console. Her 7-year-old brother found her and told their mother. She took Exodus off the cord, called police and tried to revive her.
Responding officers and firefighters performed CPR as they took the girl to the hospital.
Former heavyweight champion Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and flew on Monday to Phoenix.
The family's home is in a modest, quiet neighborhood. Neighbors say they saw Tyson there from time to time and the children played outside regularly.
Dinka Radic, who lives across the street, says the little girl would ask her if she had any chocolate in the house. When Radic would get some and give it to her, Exodus would hug the woman's knees and "kiss, kiss, kiss."
"She'd say 'hi' to everybody. She was really friendly," said Abdul Khalik, 53, who lives next door.
He said Exodus rode her bicycle in the neighborhood and often played with his two children and his niece. He said his 14-year-old daughter had cried all day after hearing of Exodus' death.
Ben Brodhurst, 20, who lives across the street, said Exodus' and her family went trick-or-treating at his house the last couple of Halloweens. She was "very lively, very enjoyable to be around," he said.
The neighborhood contrasts starkly with the lavish lifestyle Tyson had through his tumultuous years of boxing, when he spent tens of millions of dollars and says he had millions more stolen from him by unscrupulous associates. During two years at the height of his career, he earned $140 million.

TRUE CRIME: (THE DARKEST NIGHT-UNSPEAKABLE CRIME)
In 1973, two girls were kidnapped in front of a Casper, Wyo. convenience store and driven to a remote steel bridge spanning a deep, swift river. Before 11-year-old Amy Burridge was tossed 120 feet to her death she turned to her older sister (Becky) and said, "I love you," these words would haunt and linger with her older sister for the rest of her life.
After Amy hit the water and drowned, her sister Becky Thomson, 18, was brutally raped before being thrown off the bridge herself.
Miraculously, Thomson survived the fall and crawled up the steep canyon to the bridge, where she was found the next morning, battered and nearly nude.
"I climbed up backwards with my hands like that, scooting," Thomson testified in court. "And I would slide back down and then I would get up again and slide some more, and I cried and cried. And then I finally realized I was hurting really bad by my right side, and I looked down and I had a great big opening in my side and I started crying worse. Finally I got to the top."
But Thomson's stay at the "top" didn't last long. Despite surviving her physical injuries and the trials of Jerry Jenkins and Ron Kennedy-the two men who were convicted of the crime-Thomson struggled for the rest of her life with her emotional wounds.
"Her first life ended at the exact moment her second life began, on Fremont County Bridge . . ."Her second life was the life of a dead girl who simply hadn't stopped breathing.
The emotional after effects of the attack eventually proved too much for Thomson. In an event that would make headlines across the nation, she returned to the bridge in 1992 and in front of her boyfriend and 2-year-old child hurled herself off the very same spot where she had been tossed over before.
"Becky had fallen almost 120 feet, crashing into a rock ledge just three feet under water, "Her neck was broken and because there was no water in her lungs, death was presumed to be instantaneous. The violence of her impact was so great that the autopsy noted the woven imprint of her clothing on her skin in some spots.
She died because she had already been murdered many years before. She fell from such a height that it took 19 years to hit the bottom.' "

Update on Rapper Dolla....

The man police say fired the shots that killed up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Dolla in a Beverly Hills shopping mall pleaded not guilty in a L.A. courtroom today.
Aubrey Berry, aka “AB”, a 23-year-old Atlanta nightclub promoter, pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder and two counts of assault with a firearm. Police say Berry followed Dolla, 21, real name Roderick Anthony Burton II, to a PF Changs restaurant inside the upscale Beverly Center shopping complex where he was confronted by Dolla and his crew in the restaurant restroom.
After throwing up gang signs (Dolla was allegedly a member of the Crips) a fight ensued and spilled outside the restaurant. Other reports say Berry was in the valet area waiting for his car when Dolla and two others, his cousin Scrapp Deleon and local rapper D.J. Shabazz, approached him. Berry’s attorney said he felt threatended and drew his weapon firing two shots into the back of the unarmed Dolla as he ran away. One bullet pierced Dolla’s heart killing him.
According to one source, Berry was licensed to carry a concealed weapon, which explains how he was able to get the firearm through airport security. Berry remains jailed in L.A. on $5 million bail.

Mike Tyson is all over the news this week—and, sadly, it's not because of rave reviews for his new documentary or comedic timing in The Hangover.
The boxing bad boy's 4-year-old daughter, Exodus Tyson, is currently on life support after getting her neck tangled in a cord from a treadmill in her Phoenix home Monday.
Police say Exodus was playing on the exercise machine at the time of the mishap. Her 7-year-old brother discovered her and called for his mother, who was cleaning in a separate room at the moment of the accident. She called 911, and the child was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. (Police have not released the mother's name.)
Tyson, 42, was in Las Vegas at the time, but has since arrived in Phoenix to be by his daughter's side.
"The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time," the boxer's rep said in a statement.
The child is described as in "extremely critical condition."
Meanwhile, Tyson's ex-wife of 20 years ago, actress Robin Givens, is being targeted by the feds for nearly $300,000 in unpaid taxes.
According to Forbes, the 44-year-old Family That Preys star owes $292,000 in back taxes, interest and penalties reaching as far back as 1996. A lawsuit was filed last week in Tampa requesting a formal judgment against the actress.
This is not Givens' first run-in with tax trauma—she's had other state and federal clashes that were cleared, presumably because she eventually paid in full.

As a storm of outrage gathered over his department, Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle called a news conference Thursday to apologize for the behavior of an officer who detained a distressed family outside a hospital emergency room.

Kunkle said Officer Robert Powell had been placed on paid administrative leave in connection with the incident last week, in which he stopped a family rushing to visit a dying mother, keeping them for 13 minutes to write a traffic ticket. The woman died before two of the family members were able to see her.
"I am embarrassed and disappointed by the behavior of one of our police officers," the chief told a packed audience of media outlets that included Inside Edition. "His behavior, in my opinion, did not exhibit the common sense, discretion, the compassion that we expect our officers to exhibit."
During the traffic stop, caught on the officer's in-car camera, Powell berated the driver, 26-year-old NFL running back Ryan Moats, and threatened him with arrest for running a traffic light.
After seeing the video earlier this week, several senior police commanders knew they had a public relations crisis on their hands. A Plano police officer who was present at the March 17 incident had reported it to a superior, who had reported it to a Dallas police supervisor.

Letter from a college student
The other day, a friend of mine visited me in the lobby of my dorm just to chat while her laundry was drying. As we were chatting, two young freshmen came by. One of the 2 boys wanted to 'talk' to my friend (as in date).. She asked him how old they were, and both of the boys replied 18. My friend and I both laughed hysterically because we are both 22 years old.
After my friend left, the young men were still hanging around and one wanted to know how he could gain her interest.
The first thing I told him to do was to pull up his pants! He asked why, and then said he liked saggin ' his pants. I told him to come over to my computer and spell the word saggin'. Then I told him to write the word saggin ' backwards.
S-A-G-G-I-N N-I-G- G-A-S
I told him the origin of that look was from centuries ago. It was the intent of slave owners to demoralize the field workers by forbidding them to wear a belt as they worked in the fields or at any other rigorous job. In addition, men in prison wore their pants low when they were 'spoken for'. The other reason their pants looked like that was they were not allowed to have belts because prisoners were likely to try to commit suicide. And, saggin' pants prevents you from running.
We as young Black people have to be the ones to effect change. We are dying. The media has made a mockery of the Black American. Even our brothers and sisters from Africa don't take us seriously. Something as simple as pulling up your pants and standing with your head held high could make the biggest difference in the world's perception of us. It is time to do right by ourselves. We need to love and embrace each other. No one is going to do that for us.
It all comes down to perception. What people perceive is what reality to them is. We have to change not only the media's perception of us, but we need to change our perception of ourselves.
Remember all eyes are on you Black Man. All eyes are on you Black Woman. All eyes are on your Black Child. People point the finger at us and expect us to engage in negative and illegal activities, to manifest loud, boisterous behavior, to spend our hard earned money in their stores, buying goods we don't need, or really want. We have allowed not only the media, but the government and the world to portray us as a 'sub-culture. ' They have stripped our culture down to the point where the image of Black people is perpetuated as rappers, athletes, drug users, and consumers of junk food, expensive tennis shoes, expensive cars, expensive TVs, cell phones and not investing in homes for our families.
We are so much more!!!!!!!
To all our Black Men : It's time to stand up. There are billions of Black Women who want to do nothing more than worship the ground that you walk on. We are so in love with your potential. We want to have your back, we want to love, support, and cherish every ounce of your being. But with that you have to show that you are willing to be the head of our households. You have to prove yourselves worthy of our submission. We need you to be hard working...Not a hustler. We need you to seek higher education, to seek spirituality. We need you to stand! And trust us; we will have your back. We know that it gets hard. We know you get weary. Trust and believe that there is nothing that a Black Man and a Black Woman can't handle with GOD on their side.
To all our Black Women : It is also time for you to stand up. It is time for you to stop using our bodies as our primary form of communication. It is time to be that virtuous woman that Proverbs spoke of. You cannot sit by the wayside while our men are dying by the masses. You are the epitome of Black Love. It starts within you. You need to speak with conviction to let not only our Black Men know, but the world, that you are the Mothers of this world. You are so powerful. You are so beautiful. You need to love and embrace every blessing God has given us physically, emotionally and spiritually. For all our Black Children : We need to love them. We need to teach them. We need to stand up for them. We need to protect them. We need to show them that there are no 'get rich quick' schemes. We need to tell them that they WILL die trying if they submit to a life of crime and deceit. We need to teach our children that no one will love them the way we can. And being a basketball player, a rapper, or a drug dealer is not reality. It's not realistic and only a small percentage of people ever make it as a rapper or professional athlete. We need to teach our children that we can be more than rappers and athletes. We can be the owners of these sports teams. We can be the CEO's of OUR fortune 500 companies. We need to believe in literacy.

Absences Makes the Heart Grow Fonder...

Hey folks I was M.I.A for a minute however now I'm back did you Miss Me : )...I wanted to give thanks to my friends and family for the support and continued interest. On the day Natalie Cole recieved her donor kidney, her sister Carol "Cookie" Cole died from cancer of the lung. Natalie's sister Timolin said, "Our sister Cookie hadn't been to a doctor in 30 years, and last week she went in and they found a cancerous spot on her lung. They had wanted to start chemo right away, but Cookie said no."
