This black R&B singer ruled the 70's and part of the 80's. Her vocals were always on point but she couldn't stay away from the substances. She was a rumored alcoholic and she loved the powder. Unbeknownst to us, until recently, she also did heroin. She preferred to snort it but her less successful (but well known) R&B girlfriend loved to shoot heroin.
They loved to get high together, sometimes they had girl/girl sex and other times they had random group sex with groupie hanger ons (users).
Our heroin shooter lost interest in her career, instead, focusing on heroin and the pimp who supplied her. In between beatings, he would shoot her up. He liked keeping her high, loved the mind control aspect. When he used her up, he kicked her to the curb, her career never recovered and she's still fantasizing about a comeback.
