Olympic Meth

Figure skater Nicole Bobek, 31, who won the title of U.S. Champion in 1995, was arrested during a bust of a New Jersey based drug trafficking ring and, on July 6, 2009, charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. The probe into the ring, which prosecutors say brought in about $10,000 a week, resulted in 19 arrests.
According to prosecutors, Bobek, who was arrested in Florida and extradited to New Jersey, played a "significant role" in the ring, which may have also been involved in counterfeiting. If convicted, Bobek faces up to 10 years in prison. She is being held on $200,000 bond.
